Student Activities and Integrative Learning

About Us

The Mission:

The UNC Asheville Student Activities Department serves the university community by providing opportunities for personal growth and lifelong learning that align with a liberal arts education and enhance the student experience on campus.

The Department:

Student Activities & Integrative Learning (SAIL or "Student Activities") offers many programs, events, and services that provide students the opportunity to connect, learn and grow throughout their collegiate experience.  We invite, encourage, and foster student development in and outside the classroom. Students have access to over 60 student organizaitons; can participate in leadership skills activities; can coordinate service projects; can attend programs that encite creative expression; can plan educaitonal seminars that provide multidimensional perspectives of the human condition; and can be actively engaged  through leadership roles in Greek Life, Student Government Association, and Underdog Productions. Students wishing to take control of their collegiate experience and make a difference on this campus and/or in the lives of others can find what they need and so much more in the Department of Student Activities.
