Underdog Productions

Student-run, student-led and student-funded, Underdog Productions (UP) is UNC Asheville's student entertainment organization.  UP works alongside the Campus Programming Board to bring the student body a wide selection of weekend and evening activities and entertainment options.

What can Underdog do for You?

In past semesters, Underdog Productions has sponsored many different types of events, from comedians to hypnotists, to your favorite bands and performers.

Perhaps you will recognize some of these past events:

How to Become Involved with Underdog Productions:

Students interested in getting involved with UP may apply as some of the group's leadership positions open up.  These positions are rewarded with a small stipend, but volunteers are always welcome for any or all events.  Students do not need previous experience in programming events, as UP is on of more than 1200 member organizations of the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA), which provides educational and training opportunities at its workshops and conferences. 

UP members may learn and sharpen their programming skills through planning and coordinating campus events, NACA training, and the many other leadership programs offered on campus by UNC Asheville.
